We serve Monthly summer specials like the return of our fresh peach shake in June, as well as other monthly specialty shakes, chocolate covered, summer fresh Strawberries and other summer specialty candies and drinks.

How long have you been doing your craft and what drew you to it?

I’ve been perfecting my craft for 44 years! I got started making candy because I needed a job mainly but always loved candy and sweets!

How long have you been part of the Arts & Crafts Community and why do you choose to join?

I’ve been a part of the arts and crafts community for 33 years this year. I fell in love with the uniqueness of a community of people making things with their hands and with the best ingredients and supplies, just as I desired to do! I also wanted to be a part of the Gatlinburg Craftsman’s fairs and that was a big perk of being a member of the arts and crafts community.

What part of your craft do you find the most fulfilling?

My favorite part of my craft is meeting all the people that visit our great community and my little shop, and seeing their faces light up at the offerings we serve here in Glades Candies. Being able to sweeten their day, makes my day that much sweeter!

When you have a day off what do you enjoy doing in the Gatlinburg/Smoky Mt area?

When I get a day off, I love to enjoy our beautiful mountain home, the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Exploring its beautiful trails, water falls, and breathtaking views and picnicking with my family.
