How long have you been doing your craft and what drew you to it?

I began professionally painting in High School and sold first pieces in the 1960’s. 2022 marked the conclusion of 50 years of my exhibiting at Arts & Crafts Shows./p>

How long have you been part of the Arts & Crafts Community and why do you choose to join?

Joined GSACC in 2005 and after hiking for many miles, decided it was time to settle with like-minded people who carry on the long heritage of producing and promoting handcrafted arts & crafts.

What part of your craft do you find the most fulfilling?

Being able to experiment, use one’s imagination and being inquisitive about how materials interact are exciting but communing with customers is fulfilling.

When you have a day off what do you enjoy doing in the Gatlinburg/Smoky Mt area?

There is never a boring day when one is not in one’s gallery. There is always a trail to trek, another book to read and more laundry to wash!
